Athletic Field Maintenance is a large part of our total business. Most all athletic fields are played on Bermuda Grass, which is used by everyone from the Florida Marlins, to the Miami Dolphins, to local high schools and colleges. This grass is high maintenance but is the only surface athletes should play on, as it is cut lower, about 3/4 of an inch. The fertilization program is stricter, as grass is more susceptible to weeds and insects. Grass is cut with reel mowers that need to be sharpened often.
